Fabric: 13oz sanforized organic cotton, organic indigo rope-dyed selvedge from Kaihara mills that has undergone our '6 month' artisan factory wash process to produce a stressed 'vintage' faded denim. The color is a beautiful sky blue with tan whisker and honeycombs distress markers, the inner weft has also taken on the tan color. The jeans feature our signature peach and mustard stitching throughout. The denim is soft to the touch and still retains a fuzzy exterior upon close inspection. They are comfortable to wear. Selvedge-  These jeans are made from 100% organic cotton which is environmentally friendly. Our choice of dye is a natural indigo dye that has been extracted from plants, and not the synthetic indigo dyes used in regular denim jeans that have been artificially derived from petroleum. This process uses a special eco-friendly dyeing method which reduces CO2 emissions by 50% compared to conventional methods and a washing process that is completely chemical-free. While it is typically a challenge to replicate the usual intensity with natural indigo dye, this method repeatedly dips the product in an indigo bath before resting it as many as 16 times to create an exceptionally intense hue. This Selvedge denim material made in Japan is organic, natural, and eco-friendly, making it the perfect choice for producing vintage denim jeans.
